Meet the Boys
MONSTER MASH
This 2017 gelding is the reason we do what we do. Monster Mash is smart, athletic and has a puppy dog personality. He has a sweet head to match his disposition but is built like a tank, with solid bone, a broad, deep chest and a powerful, apple bottom. Monster won the Adaquan all breeds award in 2023 for Gypsy Vanners while competing at 2nd level dressage. He also qualified for the FEI regional dressage finals. This year Monster is perfecting his piaffe and flying changes and looking forward to competing at FEI level three dressage shows. Monster is the total package with personality, conformation, athletic ability and presence. It's no wonder we fell in love. Everyone deserves their very own Monster.
MONASHEE TOY STORY (Buzz)
Good things really do come in small packages. We weren't looking for a stallion, but this mini-stallion was looking for us and we couldn't be more thrilled. Prior to coming to Finch Farm Buzz, while backed, had been predominantly used for breeding. We threw him into the deep end, and a month after arriving on the farm we took him to the 2023 Gypsy Vanner Congress. He was perfect. This summer we expect great things from him in the show ring. Like Monster, Buzz will be focusing on dressage for this season, but with his incredible athleticism, I might just be tempted to try a few rounds in the jumper ring, or hit a cross country course. Buzz is expecting his first Finch Farm foal this year with our gorgeous SD Spice of Life. This pairing is sure to produce something truly spectacular.
WILLOWSWAY RAY OF SUNSHINE &
WILLIOWSWAY TOO SPOOKY
These two colts are the future herd sires of Finch Farm. A major criteria in looking for stallions to add to our breeding program was finding quality bloodlines not currently in North America. TGCA certified breeder Willowsway Stud was an obvious place to look and when we saw Spooky and Ray, we knew we had to have them. With lines including Too Smart and The Lightening Mare we can't wait to see how these two boys mature and what they will add to our program.
STEVIE
Every farm needs an adorable mini and ours simply wouldn't be complete without our Stevie. The very first pony to live on our property, this pony is worth his weight in gold, because he just knows how to be a horse. You can put him with anyone, but his preference is definitely to be with the ladies. Stevie leads without a halter and free ranges the farm while the others watch in envy. He will always greet you with a nicker and loves scratches and snacks. It's safe to say that he's a lifer.
